The Josh Meader trio are an instrumental cross-genre virtuosic powerhouse from Sydney, Australia, who draw upon modern jazz, funk, hip hop and rock to present an undeniably unique listening experience. Guitarist Josh Meader has soared to popularity within the global guitar community through his masterful playing and virtuosity, leading to his debut album ‘Tides of Time’, released earlier this year alongside Australian National Jazz Award winners, Matthew Thomson and Alex Hirlian. The ensemble delivers compositions infused with musical elements such as odd-time signatures, improvisation, sampling and textural explorations, derived from a melting pot of artists such as Tigran Hamasyan, Pat Metheny, Allan Holdsworth and Robert Glasper to name a few. Having studied, performed and toured internationally, all members of the Josh Meader Trio are at the height of the Australian music scene and have just returned from their first UK/Euro tour, which included a sold out show the the prestigious Ronnie Scotts in London
