Mike Nock is a legendary New Zealand–born jazz pianist and composer whose career spans more than six decades across Australasia, the USA and Europe. A former member of Art Blakey’s Jazz Messengers and co-founder of the pioneering fusion group The Fourth Way, Nock is celebrated for his restless creativity, deep swing and fearless musical vision. His work bridges jazz, contemporary and experimental music, marking him as one of the most influential figures in Southern Hemisphere jazz.

Leah Berry is a rising Australian jazz vocalist, improviser and lyricist based in Sydney. Known for her warm tone, vivid storytelling and adventurous phrasing, she brings a fresh voice to contemporary jazz. A graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Berry has studied internationally and performs regularly with her own ensembles. Her recent collaboration with Mike Nock, writing lyrics for his compositions, highlights her growing presence as an original and compelling new artist.
